Outstanding dealership. My daughter was on her way home to PA from NC, when her Hyundai had a sensor problem that switched it into safe mode (limited to 60mph). Found Obough online, called, and spoke to the amazingly helpful Leah. Even tho it was late on a Monday afternoon, my daughter was able to stop in and have the sensor reset quickly and on the spot. My kiddo made it home safely a few hours later. Thank you, Team Obough!! 🙂

Great service as always, Dave explained everything that was needed to pass inspection, and also what I needed to do after I had installed the front windshield wiper blades. I’ve never had a problem with getting my Equinox serviced there.

Great staff and excellent work. They take pride in their work. The service manager called me and was not happy with the blending of the paint of the new hatch back with existing paint. He call my insurance company and got extra coverage on getting the paint to blend. Very happy with the customer care service. Will recommend them to anyone.

I purchased my 2025 Kia Sportage from Charlie Obaugh Kia in May 2025 because they had the specific model and color I wanted at a better price than other locations. After test-driving two vehicles, I worked with Jose via text to finalize my decision. We completed the deal over the phone, and I was very impressed that they offered to deliver the vehicle to me free of charge, especially since I live over two hours away. Sam was very low pressure and like talking to an old friend. I have been buying new cars every couple of years since 1990 and this was the first time that I ever had a salesperson get in the car after the purchase and explain every knob and button to me. I also appreciate that he was willing to let me ride for the test drive while he drove. I don't like to drive a car I don't own and he didn't make me feel stupid for having that anxiety. It also allowed me to just concentrate on how the car ran. This was a good buying experience and I am enjoying the Seltos immensely.

We recently purchased a new car from Charlie Obaugh Kia, and the entire experience was fantastic. Our salesperson, Melissa, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond to accommodate our busy work schedules. Thanks to her flexibility and preparation, our time at the dealership was quick and efficient, which was especially helpful since we couldn’t arrive until later in the afternoon. I needed a spare key as the used Kia I bought had only 1. The person I spoke to on the phone quoted 316 dollars. After 90 minutes of waiting I was presented a bill for over 600 dollars. The extra was to program the key. A year or so ago, after losing a key, the local Honda dealer charged about 300 dollars for a new key and programming. The Kia key can be bought online for about 125 dollars. This overpricing and the fact she did not give the full price over the phone was deceptive. I will go elsewhere in the future.

Once again, I went to Charlie Obaugh and Clement Bruner was my salesman. My son needed a car after an accident and Clement was there every step of the way. He called and checked in on my son, so when it was time to look for another car he was able to find my son exactly what he wanted and at a great price. Anyone looking for a car should ask for him. I never write reviews, but this place was just incredible. I live ten hours away and had car problems after getting off the Appalachian Trail. The incredible employees here went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help get me home. I recently purchased my new 2024 Kia Forte from Jose and it was an amazing experience. I had been searching for a commuter car and had been comparing several brands, and had been to multiple dealerships. Jose was able to get me a great deal and even better interest rate so that I landed in my payment range. I 100% recommend this dealership. The whole process only took an hour and a half. Easily one of the fastest deals I've made.

Matt Sniegocki was extremely helpful to us during the buying process for our new Telluride. He went above and beyond to try and make sure that we were happy. Our SUV had some scratches and paint imperfections from the factory that needed to be repaired, so we set an appointment with their body shop to make the repairs. When we went to pick the vehicle up we noticed that there were some scratches and imperfections that were not there when we initially dropped it off with them. The body shop manager at first tried to tell me that they had not touched the area where these new scratches had appeared. I'm very meticulous when it comes to cleaning our vehicles so I knew for sure that I would have noticed them before now. After that he ensured me that they would be able to buff the scratches out and replace a lower body trim piece that had been knicked while they had the vehicle. A week later we drove back a second time to pick the vehicle up after being told it was ready to go and the trim piece had not been replaced, and the scratches were still there. I was told over the phone that the lower trim piece had been ordered and installed but it was clearly the same piece from before. They ended up having to replace a trim piece around the window where the new scratches were, and they did replace the lower trim piece I was told they had already replaced but hadn't. It's still not perfect, as there are still a few spots in the paint where it looks like they buffed it after there work but at that point I was just ready to be done with it having driven over an hour to and from three different times. I'm the only one that can really see them so I just let it ride. Our salesman Matt was very helpful throughout all of this. He put us in a loaner car during this process and did all he could to be our middle man although he really didn't have to being that they are separate from the body shop. I greatly appreciate his help, and definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get into a new ride. I give Matt 5 stars!

We were looking for a larger, family friendly SUV as we start our family and Matt guided us well, showing us all the bells and whistles of the Telluride we got. To begin, I will tell you this is the nicest dealership I've been into in the valley. It's a beautiful new building, everything is clean, it's a very welcoming environment as soon as you walk thru the doors. I shared with my salesman Eric that I had a lot of anxiety and he reassured me 20+ times that we would figure it out.. and guess what? He kept his word.. I got to bring home a brand new 2024 K5!!! This is my 3rd Kia, and my 2nd time purchasing from this wonderful team at this location. I can't tell you how comforting it is to sit at a finance managers desk and he remembers you from before in 2019. I spent a good bit of time here today which for the outcome was 100% worth it, but during my waiting time Eric was so professional, patient, and comforting. That is what I will remember most about today. He took the time to explain things in depth, and truly cared about me being educated on the topics I was asking about. I would dare say 5+ employees interacted with us during this purchase and they all were so pleasant and once again so informative without being condescending. I know nothing about cars and instead of making me feel embarrassed they made sure I knew what I was getting into. Last October 2023, with our current car having completely broken down, my husband David Yotter and I were looking to purchase a new Kia. Unfortunately, as we were still trying to repair our credit that dropped due to the pandemic, no one local wanted to give us a chance. Then, we happened to come across Charlie Obaugh Kia and decided to give them a try. And are we ever glad we did. Our salesman, Jared Moss, took all of our information over the phone and immediately began working for us. And I must say that Jared worked so incredibly hard for us: he helped us choose the perfect car, allowed us plenty of time to save for the down payment, and put the car aside until we came to pick it up. And best of all, he negotiated with lenders so much that, even with our imperfect credit, he was able to get us a car with payments that were lower than what we had been paying for our previous car. And on November 16, 2023, my husband and I happily drove 4½ hours from Bethlehem, PA, to Staunton, VA, to pick up our new 2023 Kia Forte LXS. And the long travel was absolutely worth every bit. They took care of all the paperwork for us, even providing the necessary forms and fees to transfer our registration to PA. Every day, David and I comment about how much we love our new car and how excited we are to have it, and it is all thanks to Jared Moss and the incredible team at Charlie Obaugh Kia. We will always be grateful to him.

Was an amazing experience for my first time car buying from a dealership....I went to one dealership with no luck and came to Charlie Obaugh Staunton Kia and Matt Sniegocki was able to get us approved and in our new Kia Soul that we drove right off the lot the same day.....he was so helpful and put us in the right vehicle for us and with the right payments to meet our needs....would highly recommend to any and everyone this is the place to go!!!

Normally I don't leave reviews but I have done business with Charlie Obaugh 4 times so far three of them with their Kia dealership. Each time I have gotten great service from them. I have worked with Matt Sniegocki for almost all of my car buying experiences. He is very easy to work with and has always worked well to make sure I can get the car I want without receiving a bloated sales experience. As long as Matt works for the Kia dealership I will certainly continue to work with him.
